About the ISEB Pre-test
The ISEB Common Pre-Test is an online assessment that many UK independent senior schools use as part of their admissions process. This course covers all four of its parts: English, mathematics, verbal reasoning and non-verbal reasoning.
English papers
Reading passages stay on screen next to each question, then grammar, punctuation, spelling and vocabulary.
Non-verbal reasoning papers
Every question and answer option is a picture: pairs of figures, stacks of cubes, letter codes and sequences.
Mathematics papers
Number, fractions, decimals, measures and shape. Some questions include a diagram.
Verbal reasoning papers
Word connections, word pairs, synonyms and antonyms, and moving letters. Click one of the five answer buttons.
